The SharePoint integration is available today.
SharePoint is where most Microsoft-centric organizations keep their loan and credit files. LORIQ syncs the specific sites and libraries you choose, continuously, with version history preserved and every file malware-scanned before storage.
Access can be granted org-wide or restricted to specific SharePoint sites using Microsoft's sites-selected permission model, and connections can run app-only so syncing continues when the connecting employee leaves.

Security
Every LORIQ integration — including SharePoint — runs on one shared, hardened connectivity framework rather than per-integration plumbing:
- Credentials are stored in an encrypted, per-connection vault and are never exposed to browser sessions or logs.
- Every synced record is scoped to your organization — tenant isolation is enforced at the query layer and verified by automated guard tests.
- All incoming files pass malware scanning before storage; unscanned bytes are never persisted (fail-closed by design).
- Imports land as drafts for review — synced data never silently overwrites your records.
- Every sync, import, and connection change is captured in the platform audit trail.
- Access is scoped to the specific sites, drives, or folders you choose — LORIQ never gets blanket access to your content.
Authentication
LORIQ connects to SharePoint through Microsoft Entra ID (Native API (Microsoft Entra ID)). Your Microsoft administrator consents to a scoped set of permissions; LORIQ never handles user passwords.
Connections support both delegated (signed-in user) and application (app-only) authentication, so syncs keep running even when the connecting employee leaves. Disconnecting purges the stored credentials from the vault.
Setup guide
- 1Connect
From Settings → Integrations, choose SharePoint and authorize with an administrator account.
- 2Select locations
Pick the SharePoint sites, drives, or folders that hold credit-relevant documents. LORIQ verifies each selection server-side before saving it.
- 3Preview
Run a preview to see what would sync. Previews are read-only and store nothing.
- 4Sync
Enable the schedule. New and changed documents are scanned, versioned, and filed automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Does LORIQ modify or delete files in SharePoint?
No. The integration is read-only against SharePoint — LORIQ copies or references documents but never changes the source.
What happens to infected or unscannable files?
They are rejected before storage. LORIQ fails closed: if a file cannot be scanned, it is not stored, and administrators are notified of scanner outages.
Can we limit which folders LORIQ sees?
Yes. You choose the exact locations during setup, and access can be narrowed or revoked at any time.
